OMG Black Friday ad leaks . . . already???? The unofficial start of holiday shopping is the day after Thanksgiving (Friday). Most stores offer Door-buster Sales with some kind of early bird special to attract consumers to their stores. People stand in line hours before stores open, to grab the big deal of the year but I suggest getting there 20-30 minutes after the store opens. You may miss the deal but most times not and you DO miss the craziness.

Here are just some of the best sites to check when planning your shopping. Many offer email alerts too. Most big box stores (Best Buy, Target, CVS) have ads leaked way before Thanksgiving. Don't forget those online gift sites as well (Harry & David, Swiss Colony, and Red Envelope.)

Of course retail giant Amazon has special deals ending at different times each day to lure you to their site over and over.Just put Black Friday in their search box and then bookmark the Black Friday page. They also have a Cyber Monday page, Gold Box Deals, and Top Holiday Deals page. Don't forget to update your wish list while you are there.
