Season 6 of the Milwaukee Farmers Market will operate November 1 through April 11. 35 weekly vendors live within 90 miles of a well-situated, indoor venue at the Mitchell Park Domes. There, agricultural vendors offer high quality fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, poultry and dairy products. Local food vendors also bring a wide variety of freshly baked goods, jams, cider, honey, maple syrup, sorghum, sauces and soups, as well as delicious ethnic cuisine.
Products include: Apples, Cider, Artisan Cheese, Hand Rolled Butter, Greek Yoghurt, Goat Milk, Baked Goods, Oatmeal, Granola, Stone Ground Flour,Pastured Lamb, Beef, Pork and Poultry. Vegetables include Arugula, Beets (fresh and stored), Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage (red, green, savoy, Chinese Bok Choi), Carrots (fresh and stored), Cauliflower, Celeriac, Celery, Chard, Fennel, Garlic, Herbs, Kale (Winterbor, Russian, Toscano), Kohlrabi, Leeks, Lettuce Mix, Mache, Mizuna, Onions, Peppers, Potatoes (6 varieties), Radishes (watermelon, black Spanish), Shallots, Spinach, Sweet Potatoes, Tatsoi, Hydroponic Tomatoes (November), Tomatillos, Turnips (purple top, golden globe, hakurei), Winter Squash (carnival, butternut, fairy). Game such as Elk and Buffalo. Also Rainbow Trout, Smoked Salmon, Eggs, Honey, Maple Syrup, Sorghum, Seasonal Jam, Frozen Enchiladas, Authentic Greek Cuisine & Gourmet Pastries, Fresh Pasta, Salad Dressing, and Charcuterie (December)
