Wearing colors that are right not only make you feel better but you are actually stronger in them. I know it sounds weird but it was a kind of parlor trick that was done at the in person analysis. They draped you in a scarf of "your season" and you could resist an outside force applied to your arm much more readily than when draped in the "wrong season".
