Is everyone Irish on Saint Patrick's Day? Maybe not, but the rest of the year 11% of the US population identifies their heritage as Irish, I always identify with my Welsh heritage and claim that is close enough to count. Anyway you look at it it's a day associated with the coming spring. We all need that this year!
Being both a cultural and a religious holiday people celebrate in various ways. I'm not into green beer but I will be eating a corned beef sandwich today. Thank goodness for slow cookers! I'll be looking hard for something green to wear since most of my wardrobe is in storage. How about you?
