Since 1937 The Hobbit has thrilled audiences. I know I read it to my kids when they were sick in bed one year and we all enjoyed it immensely. I credit their love for literature to that and other non traditional books, comics, and reading that was fostered in our home. Looking forward to seeing it on the big screen with them.
Anyway did you know there is a Tolkien Society? This Society brings together like minds with three gatherings throughout the year at a national level but of course they are in the UK.

Capturing my ongoing fascination with the depth and breadth of internet sites out there. Ranging from the absurd to the relevant I highlight sites I locate, some of my posts are long and some short based on available time and what I have seen that is new to me.
